Electrical Maintenance Training
This Training is suitable for a wide range of engineers including Mechanical Engineers, Line Technicians, Service Engineers and for anyone needing to upskill into the area of Electrical Maintenance.

No previous knowledge is assumed as all the underpinning electrical principles required for testing motors, fault finding and replacing electrical components are covered on the course. The course progresses to include PLCs, Inverters, 3phase control, sensors, interpreting panel drawings and fault finding on automated systems.

There are two Electrical Maintenance Training courses :-


	Electrical Maintenance Training Part 1 This 5day course assumes no previous knowledge of Electrical Work. Its 10 Units of practical and theory relate to the most common areas of Electrical Maintenance from reading values of current, voltage and resistance in a circuit using a multimeter to isolating and testing cables and 3phase motors and then on to wiring contactor control circuits There are 4 practical Assessments The course is certified by EAL

		Electrical Maintenance Training Part 2 This 5day course follows on from the Part 1 course Much of the underpinning knowledge for this course has been covered in Part 1 and so is mainly practical to include Basic PLC Maintenance, Electronic Sensors, Wiring 3phase systems, Building automation circuits, Inverter Drives, Fault Finding techniques and practice, Interpreting electrical panel diagrams There are 4 practical Assessments The course is certified by EAL

Location
These courses are carried out at our training venue BTMC Blackburn Lancs. This is a genuinely easy to find location off Junc 6 of the M65 and there are lots of places to stay close by.

Costs Each course costs just £745 + Vat per delegate at BTMC.

For each course there is an optional EAL Certificate of Verified Achievement at £55 per course on satisfactory completion

Skills Assessments or Review
Practical Skills Assessments can be carried out at BTMC Blackburn to assess training needs.

Written testing or examinations can be carried out at BTMC Blackburn or online if preferred.
